Departments

The office of the General Secretary provides strategic leadership to sustain CCT's vision and mission.  The purpose is to improve internal administration, coordination of programs and activities, ecumenism, networking and advocacy. 

Organization

With the proposed organization, the CCT will have four departments:

Director of Administration will be responsible for:

  • Administration and Human Resources (AHR) - to enhance efficient human resource management and administrative services;
  • Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation (PME) - to facilitate mainstreaming of Measurement and Evaluation Processes within the CCT Secretariat, to communicate the CCT effectiveness to member churches and Partners, and to monitor, evaluate and report CCT programme activities as they relate to the Strategic Plan 2011-2013.
  • Information and Communication Technology (ICT)  - to provide the CCT with and maintain effective Information Technology tools, to provide training on software applications, to develop and maintain up-to-date provide web development and maintenance services to the CCT and its three self accounting units, and to maintain secure email services.
  • Transport
  • Logistics.

Fin Dept Director of Finance is the custodian of the Christian Council'd funds and all assets, both movable and immovable.  The Finance directorate is entrusted with all accounting and financial functions of the Council.  The director acts as an advisor to the Council on Financial matters and liaison with Council's bankers on cash matters.  Also the director acts as an intermediary between the Council and its Partners and donors.

Director of Advocacy Programmes will be responsible for the seven programme offices (see Programmes page).

Director of Resource Mobilzation will be responsible for the three self-accounting units:  WAMA, MWTC and the CTC.  In addition this Director will oversee and manage all CCT Investments.
